Our room was sparkling clean, incredibly spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. The beds were super comfy and there was even a fridge for our convenience. 🌟

Room was nice, I got a free upgrade because the room I originally booked had been dismantled for remodeling and the night clerk was not made aware of it until I found it that way.

Well the above mentioned remodeling recomenced the next morning earlier than I would have liked. In fact there was no warning of the noise of demolition from the night staff; aside from a cryptic note taped to the check in desk. I might say it was quite disturbing to wake up to the very loud crashing, banging and yelling.

The staff were friendly, parking spacious, and the room had tea/coffee facilities and a fridge. There is a large indoor swimming pool and hot tub. There is a fitness room, but be sure to read comments below.

The fitness room was marginal with the treadmill not working at all, the recumbent bike being a well-worn home-use machine, and the stack machine being, frankly, in an unsafe condition with frayed cables and broken pulleys. One has to be pretty serious about working out to choose to work on this equipment. The room was a bit small and the AC unit very noisy.

The rooms here are well stocked, and you can enjoy a delicious breakfast and a very comfortable bed in clean facilities.

Location

The room charge was $352.00, nearly $100.00 over rack rate (amount posted on room door, which is maximum by state law CA Penal Code 1863). They refused to adjust the charge and I had to contact their corporate offices to get my bill reduced to the maximum they were legally allowed to charge customers.

The location was good and stunning - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

Had a really nice stay for a short business trip. Enjoyed a savory breakfast with rolls and pastries. Room included a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee/tea making facilities.

Bed was adequate, close but not too close to 101 so it was quiet.

Shabby room, broken sink, signs say renovation but no actual sign of work being done. Grossly overpriced - a real rip-off, using the fact of university graduation to TRIPLE rates per night.

Breakfast was great and the parking and WiFI were also very good.

Quick, easy access to Humboldt State.

The hotel was surprisingly threadbare and worn. The room had an unpleasant order even after the second day. The table and chairs for the "desk" in the room weren't comfortable.

Clean and modern rooms with a coffee maker and fridge. The pool is top-notch 🌟. They serve a nice breakfast with toast, cereal, fruit, eggs, and delicious hot waffles.

I have just returned from a really really nice stay in this brand-new hotel, modern rooms. The restaurant food is good, and the breakfast offered is savoury with instant coffee and pastry, for example.
